Ward Insulated Panels again has proved that it has building envelope solutions for projects large and small with a large contract win in Newmarket.
Ward was commissioned to supply complete roofing and walling solutions for an office complex at Parkway, on the Suffolk-based Oaks Business Park. Over 5,000m² of its best-selling IP1000 through fix insulated panels in Goosewing Grey were used to complete the roof. Similar panels coupled with Ward’s popular DW flat panel range were specified for the walls, giving the building a modern contrasting look.
Ward IP1000 is an economical through fixed trapezoidal roof panel, which can be used for all industrial and commercial building applications where the finished roof pitch is 4° or more. The Ward DW Wall panel range features a tongue and groove concealed fixing, can be laid horizontally or vertically and is suitable for a wide range of wall applications.
John Wilkinson, Commercial Director at Balsham Buildings Ltd, the sheeting contractor on the development, said: “We’ve used Ward products for a number of years on many different projects. The convenience and effectiveness of using an integrated building envelope solution from a single manufacturer helps enormously in delivering successful buildings on time.”
All Ward composite panels incorporate a Firesafe Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core with zero Ozone Depletion Potential (Zero ODP).
