| Ancillaries : Streamline Gutter System | ||||||
|
Ward Streamline is the family of components which provide cladding and bracket supported gutter systems for the entire range of Ward insulated roofing systems. The gutter cross section, support arms and pre-formed corner units are manufactured to suit the specific profile dimensions of the Ward roof system being used. The components are joined to the verge flashings by means of pre-formed corner units to form a shadow-line construction around the roof to wall junction of the building. Manufactured from 0.7mm thick double sided plastisol coated steel, the range of gutters covers roof slope increments from 2° to 24°. The gutter is supported from the roof cladding using support arms sealed and fixed over the corrugations of the roof profile. Support arms may be colour matched to suit the roof sheet or the gutter. Gutter Support Arm GSA_ _Supplied to suit panel profile with predrilled holes for fixing screw location. Gutter Corner UnitsGutter corner units form the junction between gutter and verge. They are manufactured to suit increments of roof slope from 2° to 24°. Connection is made by means of a butt strap joint detail to the gutter and a minimum 75mm overlap of the verge flashing. Downpipe LengthsDownpipes are available in any length up to 6.0m. Swan necks and shoe details are available as factory manufactured units or may be formed on site using the standard components. Gutter JointsGutters are available in standard 6.0m lengths and in specified make up lengths up to 6.0m. The butt strap joint is site formed using a silicone mastic seal secured with pop rivets FX17R. Gutter lengths are joined on site by means of a pre-formed gutter section. Joints should occur close to but not at the position of the gutter support arm. To enhance appearance the rivets may be touched in with a colour matched paint.
