Ward Insulated Panels
DR1000 : Apex Details

Ridge Capping

TR10

The ridge capping TR10 is manufactured in 0.7mm colour coated galvanised steel. Standard lengths are 3 metres, these are joined by lapping. When ordering please quote the roof pitch.

Profile Filler
FDRR31EP

The profile filler FDRR31MP is made from Metallocene Polyolefin (MP) foam with a thickness of 30mm. This combination
gives a durable and cost effective component. A butyl seal, applied to the base of the filler, ensures the best possible seal.

Filler Support
ZED ZF15

The filler support zed ZF15 is supplied finished on its exposed faces with black plastisol. It is manufactured in 0.7mm steel and is factory notched to clear the panel profile. The base angle of 100° ensures adequate compression of the filler to give the best possible seal to the panel.

Profile Filler
FDRN05WP

This 25mm thick white polyethylene filler is used between the underside of the panel and the internal ridge trim at the
apex purlin. It effectively closes off the profile of the liner to give a satisfactory appearance and prevents particles of
ridge insulation quilt from entering the building. Additional sealant is used to prevent warm air entering the ridge void,
reducing the risk of interstitial condensation in this area.

Ridge Capping
RCF_/P

The ridge capping RCF_/P is manufactured from 0.7mm colour coated galvanised steel. Standard lengths are 3.0m which are notched at one end to allow lapping.

Profile Fillers
FDRR05MP and FDRR05BP

Either of these 25mm thick fillers may be utilised under the ridge capping to fill the profile of the panel. The FDRR05MP is
manufactured from Metallocene Polyolefin (MP) foam, has a high resistance to UV light and a life expectancy in excess of twenty years, depending on site conditions. The FDRR05BP is made from polyethylene foam, has a lower cost than
its EPDM faced equivalent and an expectancy reduced, depending on site conditions.
